Lip Sync Battle was Bars!

Last night, TDP and Poetic Ramblings co-hosted the BHS second annual lip sync battle, and it was epic. That’s right. Epic. Students from all grade levels stood on stage, channeled famous performers, and battled for the glory of winning. Drawing from childhood favorites like Spongebob’s “This Grill is Not a Home” and Lemonade Mouth’s “Determinant,” performances hit the nostalgia notes hard and had audiences laughing down memory lane. A few more contemporary pieces made the stage as well. From impressive dance numbers punctuating KPop hits to perfectly choreographed Hamilton scenes, students brought their game to this year’s battle. With emcees Emily Campagna and Laura Prendergast keeping the show going, the event was a success. Thanks to all who came out and supported The Devils’ Playlist and Poetic Ramblings!

Though all performances were stellar, we had to name winners.

In FIRST PLACE, the champs for two years in a row: Leila Kiddu; Alexandria Floyd, Kellsee Lynch, Laura Prendergast, and Christina Charmant with their performance of “Non-Stop” from Hamilton.
